Rece la atingere și cu o strălucire delicată, această piatră arcuită cu imagine poartă o lume în suprafața sa—forme minerale ramificate pe fundalul blând al straturilor de gri și bej. Modelată de timpul geologic, pare o pagină liniștită din arta Pământului. 🪨

Pe fața sa lustruită, dendritele naturale de mangan se desfășoară ca niște copaci cerneți, țărmuri sau semne abstracte. Stai cu ea și apar scene diferite—creste cețoase, o tufă, un semn simplu. Modelele cu contrast puternic nu sunt pictate; s-au format în calcarul fin-granulat de-a lungul a milioane de ani, o înregistrare răbdătoare a fluxului mineral.
