Taurus — 20 April to 20 May — is the bull, and the name comes from the Latin for exactly that. In the Greek sky the constellation marks the form Zeus took when he crossed the sea to bring Europa home, a piece of mythology that says a good deal about this sign: strength, devotion, and a slow, certain movement toward what matters.
