Какво представлява Rose Quartz?

Rose quartz is the gentlest-looking mineral on the shelf: quartz blushed pink by traces of titanium and iron, usually translucent rather than clear, as if seen through frosted glass.

It is also one of the oldest loved. Beads of rose quartz have been found in Mesopotamia dating back seven thousand years; the Romans carved seals from it; the Egyptians ground it into cosmetics, believing it kept the skin young. Whatever else changes, people have always wanted this stone close to the body.

The crystal tradition assigns rose quartz to the heart chakra, and to love understood broadly: romance, certainly, but also friendship, family, and the unfashionable work of being kind to oneself. Taurus and Libra claim it in the zodiac. It is the stone most often given rather than bought.

The tradition's counsel is to give the stone something to carry: an intention, named simply when you first place it. Kept on a desk, a pink stone becomes a small standing reminder to be a little softer with everyone, including the person at the desk. The practice is yours; the stone keeps it in view.

We stock it as tumbled stones, hearts and spheres, facial rollers, pendants and bracelets. The colour varies from barely-pink to deep rose; natural stone keeps its own counsel.

Често задавани въпроси

What does rose quartz do?

The crystal tradition assigns rose quartz to the heart chakra and to love in its broadest sense: romantic love, friendship, family bonds, and self-compassion. It is traditionally kept as a standing reminder to soften one's approach to oneself and others, often placed where it will be seen daily.

Where is the best place to put a rose quartz crystal?

Rose quartz is traditionally placed where you will see it often, on a desk, bedside table, or mantlepiece. The practice is to let it serve as a visual anchor for an intention you have named, particularly one concerning kindness, patience, or any of love's quieter forms.

How do you activate a rose quartz?

The tradition suggests giving the stone something to carry when you first bring it home: an intention, named simply and aloud or silently. That might be a quality you wish to practise (gentleness, openness, forgiveness) or a relationship you wish to tend. The stone then holds that practice in view.

What crystals should you have beside your bed?

Rose quartz is one of the stones the tradition most often places at the bedside, paired with its association with the heart and with gentleness. Amethyst is another, traditionally reached for at bedtime. The choice is personal; the practice is to keep only what invites rest rather than stimulation.

Who should not wear rose quartz?

There are no traditional restrictions on wearing rose quartz; it is the most widely given and worn of the heart stones. The only practical caution is that it is quartz, with a hardness of seven, so it will scratch softer materials and be scratched by harder ones.
