Okrugla, plitka zdjela od mesinga nalazi se ispod kupolastog poklopca, dovršenog s okruglim drvenim vrhom za lako i hladno podizanje. Poklopac s otvorima ima nježne izreze zvijezde i polumjeseca, s finim ugraviranim linijama koje hvataju svjetlo. Dugi, okrugli drveni drška uravnotežuje komad, dok mali stalak lagano podiže zdjelu s površine. Suptilno urezivanje pentagrama dodaje simboličnu notu: u mnogim kulturama pentagram često predstavlja harmoniju i zaštitni krug pet elemenata — zemlju, vodu, vatru, zrak i duh.
