Izrada
Ovi su mirisni štapići izrađeni u vedskom stilu, tehnikom kojom se prirodne smole, drvo u prahu i mirisna ulja valjaju oko tanke bambusove jezgre. Dobiva se štapić koji ravnomjerno gori i polako otpušta miris, bez oštrine štapića od čistog ugljena ili teške, zagušljive arome sintetičkih štapića umočenih u miris.
Paljenje
Zapalite premazani vrh, pustite da gori nekoliko sekundi, a zatim ugasite plamen tako da vrh ostane užaren. Goli kraj postavite u držač otporan na toplinu ili hvatač pepela i pustite da gori na mjestu gdje ima malo strujanja zraka. Nikada ga ne ostavljajte bez nadzora i pazite da pepeo ne padne na površinu koja se lako oštećuje.
