Distilată prin abur din rădăcinile Vetiveria zizanioides, cultivate cu grijă pe Java, această extract pur poartă caracterul pământului: sol răcoros după ploaie, lemn rășinos și o dulceață moale de iarbă uscată. Cunoscut în Asia de Sud ca khus, vetiverul a fost apreciat de mult timp în parfumerie și parfumarea locuinței pentru aroma sa constantă și persistentă. Bucurați-vă de el într-un difuzor (3–5 picături), pe o piatră ceramică de aromă la birou sau încălzit într-un arzător de ulei pentru o ambianță echilibrată de seară.
