Kalakuosi on graafisempi ja tyylitellympi kuin Kilpikonna-kuosi — se näyttää enemmän toistuvasta kuviosta kuin luonnoskuvasta, mikä tekee siitä monikäyttöisen eri tyylien yhteydessä.
