Formad som en hög, fasetterad prisma med en pyramidformad spets och en stabil, platt bas, är den cirka 9 cm hög och väger ungefär 60–70 g. Stenen är ogenomskinlig, djupsvart och mycket reflekterande, med raka, rena kanter och släta ytor som inbjuder fingertopparna.
