Sojawachskerze im Glas, Gurke und Minze

These candles have absolutely no fragrance, I choose peppermint as it smells good and helps keep flies away, but there is absolutely no fragrance from these candles whatsoever, I purchased a pack of citronella tea light candles instead, I would not recommend these candles, The only good thing is they burn for a long time,

Got the green one with lime peppermint cucumber and its got this sort of spa fresh smell that kinda works.. not a fake scent or anything just this mellow freshness when you walk in the room.. its real subtle though like i dont always notice it unless i leave the room and come back.. burns clean with no mess and the wee tin looks decent sitting out.. not sure i would say i smell the cucumber part but the lime and peppermint come through.. soft and a bit sweet.. feels like a nice thing to light in the kitchen or maybe after a bath.. value wise its alright i guess and it doesnt come off cheap or tacky.. wish it had a wee bit more scent to it but i still like it and think its a pretty decent candle

No smell whatsoever, better off buying a bag of tea lights for the price

This is a gorgeous freshly scented candle in a somewhat simple white ceramic pot. The whole thing is well made, the scents are seemingly expertly blended as I can smell all the listed fragrances as well as enjoying the harmonious scent they all create together. The wax seems to burn cleanly, I've burned this a few times, keeping the wick trimmed, and it's burning nicely still, little or no soot and no tunnelling either! The pot is the really lovely extra, it has a beautiful design on the pure white ceramic and once all the wax is gone I will be cleaning it out and keeping it for other uses!

This candle looks, feels and smells luxurious. The scent is quite unique and refreshing is a good word for it. I like using this in the bathroom as it makes the room smell fresh, even hours after I've blown the candle out. The ceramic container is lovely and I won't be throwing it out afterwards- it will make the perfect container for a homemade candle. The burn time feels accurate or perhaps even an underestimate as I've had this burning for a long time and it seems like I've barely made a dent into it. The wick is also very strong and easy to light. It's expensive but still good value for money as it is a luxury product.

The idea of the smart candle in a ceramic jar is fantastic. It feels like it would fit perfectly with any interior, and give a nice, clean appearance. In the hand it feels like a quality item, with the matte ceramic pot lending a very clean, minimalist air. The card packaging is very nicely presented, with its colour-coordinated print to match the candle's wax, and it looks wonderful in the hand, but because the delicate ceramic jar sits against the sides of the thin card, it doesn't get the amount of protection it needs to withstand mail-order. The fine fragments of the jar had been ground into the entire surface of the candle, so it was like a very sharp little hedgehog! I couldn't handle it at all. I ordered three of these candles, and the other two arrived safe and sound, but I can see from other reviews that others have had the same problem, so I think that whilst this packaging would look beautiful on a shelf, it really needs some more protection to make it suitable for mail order. It's a pity, because these really are gorgeous, and perfect for gifting. The burn time stated for these candles is 45 hours, which very much puts this candle into the 'White Company' bracket, in terms of quality. They do look the part, and feel like a premium product, and the scents are just wonderful. I did smell the candle unlit, and I'd say the mint comes through strongest for me, but I can smell the lime as well. Honestly, I'm not even sure what cucumber smells like, so I couldn't say either way. But the scent is very fresh and Summery, a daytime scent to stimulate the senses. I'm so sad it was broken! All in all I'd say this is a wonderful product that just needs a little more packaging around it to absorb any knocks in transit. If this had arrived intact it would have very definitely been a five-star review, but as it is I can't give this one more than three stars. As I said, the scent was wonderful and the whole package oozes quality, I'd just like to see the packaging bulked up a little.

This has a very refreshing peppermint-y lime & cucumber scent, perfect for small rooms or properties like mine where the scent makes it's way into all rooms of the floor it resides on. Comes in a very smart themed box, ideal for gifting! With up to 45hrs of burn time, it will get a lot of use here - we often have wax melts on at any waking hour, and those burn through many tea candles which can be a hassle to constantly replace so it's nice to have something that you can set down and not have to think about. Once it's all done, you are left with quite a nice ceramic jar, perfect for small plants. Very happy with this, would recommend!

I have become quite familiar with the brand "The Lab Co." over recent months as I have been fortunate enough to try several of their products due to being in the Vine program. Their products have always struck me as being well-made, the thing I have queried previously in my reviews has been the price/value for money. Here this specific "Tinned Candle with Lime Peppermint Cucumber" seems well-made also. The wax is poured into a metal can and the can has a lid that you pull off upwards. Opening the candle the wax is an attractive green colour and the unlit candle has a sort of pine and woodsy fragrance to it. When I was a kid and played on a football team one of the team coaches had "liniment spray" for knocks and bruises. It smells a little like that to my nose. It's pretty great in form & function. My only question mark is to the size of it. Lid OFF, the tin stands a shade over 4cms high. The diameter of the open tin is 6.5cms across. It certainly isn't the biggest candle in the world. I really do like the smell and the presentation is understated yet elegant. Unfortunately due to the small size the best I can do is a four star review. It's intended to be a good four star review, but I can't give five for a candle this dinky I'm afraid.

Love this candle. A wonderful warm fragrance and lasts for ages. Will definitely buy again.
