Muodoltaan vapaa, kiilamainen trapezoidi, jossa on pehmeästi pyöristetyt reunat, kiiltävä pinta ja yksi leveä, tasainen sivu, joka seisoo tukevasti hyllyllä tai pöydällä. Suuruusluokka: 140–170 mm; paino: 900–1100 g. Perusväri vaihtelee tummanharmaasta lähes mustaan, ja pinnalla on voimakas iridesoiva sininen sävy sekä hienovaraisia vihreän ja kullan vaihteluita tietyistä kulmista katsottuna.
