Lämmin koskettaa ja pehmeästi kiiltävä lasitettu keramiikkainen teekannu lepää matalalla ja vakaasti pöydällä. Sen leveä runko, lyhyt, leveä nokka ja kulmikas kahva tuntuvat tasapainoisilta kädessä, kun taas kupumainen kansi pyöreällä nupilla nousee kevyellä keramiikkakopautuksella.

Runsas keltainen pohja kantaa perinteisiä itäaasialaisia kuvioita: jatkuvuutta ehdottava meanderireunus, valkoiset kartushet punaisella shou (elinvoima) -merkillä, siniset pilvimuodot ja tyylitellyt kukat.
