Ursprung: Madagaskar. Form: förlängd geometrisk prisma med flera platta ytor och en fasetterad spets. Färg/struktur: övervägande mörkgrå till nästan svart med ljusare ådring och naturligt marmorerat mönster; glansig, slät finish. Optik: visar labradorescens—iriserande blått är vanligast, med grönt och subtilt guld som framträder när den rör sig. Renhet: mestadels ogenomskinlig med lätt genomskinlighet vid tunnare kanter. Storlek/vikt: cirka 100 × 28 mm; 50–65 g. Varje bit är unik; toner, mönster och exakta mått varierar något. ✨

I samtida kristallära kopplas labradorit ofta till Tredje Ögat och Kronchakrat, och associeras med stjärntecken som Skorpionen och Lejonet.
