Kühl im Griff und von stiller Strahlkraft, offenbart dieser Labradorit aus Madagaskar ein lebhaftes Farbenspiel – seine charakteristische Labradoreszenz –, wenn Licht über seine Oberfläche fällt. Leuchtendes Blau blitzt auf, vermischt mit goldenen und sanft grünen Nuancen auf einem tiefen Anthrazitton. ✨

Der Stein ist glatt und glänzend poliert und hat eine abgerundete, rechteckige Form mit sanft gerundeten Flächen und Kanten. Er ist überwiegend undurchsichtig mit leichter Transparenz an dünnen Rändern und zeigt unter dem Polieren natürliche innere Streifen und feine Einschlüsse. Irisierende Effekte treten in eckigen Flecken und Streifen auf. Mittlere Größe: ca. 80–100 mm lang, Gewicht ca. 250–300 g. Jedes Stück variiert in Farbe und Muster. 🔹

Labradorit, dessen Ursprung in der Geologie Madagaskars liegt, wird in der modernen Kristallkunde oft mit dem Dritten Auge und dem Kronenchakra in Verbindung gebracht und ist in Inuit-Erzählungen traditionell mit dem Polarlicht assoziiert; viele verbinden ihn auch mit den Sternzeichen Skorpion, Löwe und Schütze.
