Uit een rustieke mix van inktzwarte bladeren en kleine bleke sterretjes stijgt een troostend aroma op — warme cacao, zachte mout en de zoetheid van een net geopende bakkerij. De drank schenkt diep kastanjebruin, helder en fluweelachtig. Eerste slok, en de tijd vertraagt. 🍂

Gemaakt met Chinese zwarte thee, op traditionele wijze — verwelkt, gerold, volledig geoxideerd, daarna zorgvuldig gefired — draagt deze kop een ronde body en een dessertachtige warmte. Hintjes van donkere cacao en gebakken suiker ontvouwen zich, met een zachte en kalme afdronk. Voeg een beetje melk of een plantaardige variant toe en het wordt zacht en romig, een stille knipoog naar een favoriete brownie gedeeld bij het raam op een winterse middag. 🍫

Het droge blad is prachtig onregelmatig: donkere, gekrulde fragmenten, roestbruine schilachtige stukjes en speelse stervormige accenten die de aandacht trekken. Het zet een gezellig moment neer — een klein ritueel voor frisse ochtenden, langzame avonden, of een bewuste pauze tussen hoofdstukken. 🍵

Zetten & serveren

2–3 g per 200 ml
90–95°C water
Laat 3–4 minuten trekken; pas aan naar smaak
Geniet puur voor een frisse, cacao-getinte kop, of met melk voor extra zachtheid
