🌊 Waar helder glas ontmoet verweerd hout, verschijnt een stille balans. Dit grote, met de hand gevormde vat rust in een natuurlijke witgewassen basis, de lichte aqua tint van de kom vangt de dag als kalm water.

Het afgeronde lichaam is glad aan te raken, met een brede cirkelvormige opening en een zachte rand. Daaronder verzacht het glas in subtiele plooien waar het de basis ontmoet, afkoelend in zijn contouren voor een op maat gemaakte, nestelende pasvorm. Het hout voelt geaard en doorleefd aan—witgewassen over nerf, knopen en kleine spleten, met warm beige en bruin die doorschemeren. Samen vormen ze een asymmetrische silhouet: organisch, eerlijk en prettig om te zien.

Gemaakt in Indonesië, draagt elk stuk lichte variaties in kromming en toon, die het karakter van de materialen weerspiegelen. De algehele aanwezigheid is royaal maar luchtig (ongeveer 24 cm hoog met voet; kom ongeveer 16 cm hoog, 10 cm diameter), met lichte natuurlijke golvingen in het glas die zachte beweging toevoegen zonder afleiding.

Plaats het waar texturen welkom zijn—op een dressoir, lage tafel of plank. Laat het staan als een sculpturale rust, of wieg gedroogde botanicals, verzamelde stenen, of een drijvende kaars voor avondelijke warmte. 🌿🕯️
