Vormgegeven in een strak rechthoekig ontwerp met zacht afgeronde hoeken en verzachte randen, is de schaal vervaardigd uit massief, licht- tot mediumbruin hout met natuurlijke nerfvariaties. Het oppervlak is fijn geschuurd, met donkere gravures die contrast en rust toevoegen: een centrale gestileerde hand met een oog, vier subtiele bloemrijke mandala-achtige motieven bij elke hoek, en een slanke randlijn die het ontwerp samenbindt.
