Mjölkvit selenit reser sig i ett fasetterat torn, dess polerade ytor fångar ljus med en tyst, månlika glans. Från de mineralrika landskapen i Marocko bär den en mild ljusstyrka som känns lugn och klar. 🌙

En prismatisk pelare med en platt bas och en spetsig, pyramidliknande topp, den står stadigt på en hylla eller altare. Kroppen är halvgenomskinlig, med fina vertikala strimmor som löper genom och längs ytan; ytan är slät med en sidenliknande glöd. Storlek: H 10 cm, B 4 cm; ca 290 g. Som ett naturligt stycke visar varje torn sina egna mönster och grader av genomskinlighet.

Selenit är en kristallin variant av gips, uppkallad till ära av Selene, den grekiska mångudinnan. I samtida kristalltraditioner förknippas den ofta med kron- och tredje ögats chakran och är ibland kopplad till stjärntecknet Oxen—delas här som kulturell kontext. 🕯️
