Co je Red Aventurine?
Red Aventurine is quartz with a secret. The shimmer that runs through it — that flash of mica catching light — is what gave the stone its name. The word comes from Italian a ventura, meaning 'by chance', and it was borrowed from glass. An eighteenth-century Murano glassworker accidentally dropped metal filings into molten glass and created goldstone; the real mineral, with its natural flecks of mica or hematite, was named in the glass's honour. By then the stone had already been polished and carried for centuries, especially in India and the Urals.
In the crystal tradition, Red Aventurine moves between two elements: fire and earth. It is one of the few stones associated with both the root chakra — where steadiness lives — and the sacral, where energy and feeling move. The pairing makes intuitive sense: it is warm and grounding at once, the colour of late afternoon and packed earth.
Aries claims it as its own. The tradition holds it close to courage, vitality and the willingness to begin.
If you keep a stone, the suggestion is simple: give it a role. Hold it in the morning and name something you want to carry through the day — steadiness, forward motion, the nerve to begin — and let it mark the intention. The stone does not create the feeling; it simply keeps the thought in reach. A small ritual, repeated, becomes its own kind of practice.
In the catalogue you'll find Red Aventurine as tumbled stones, rough chunks, pendulums and jewellery — pieces that carry the warmth and weight of the earth it comes from.
