Zwischen deinen Fingern liegt eine weiche, handgeflochtene Räucherspirale – hellbeige, mit einer sanften Spirale und verjüngten Enden – die die Ruhe des Himalaya-Zedernholzes trägt. Dieser Seilstil hat tiefe Wurzeln in Nepal, wo dhup in Häusern, Stupas und Tempeln besonders in Newar-Gemeinschaften geschätzt wird. 🌲🏔️

Sorgfältig von Hand gerollt und gedreht, steckt jedes Seil natürliche Himalaya-Kräuter und Harze in handvorbereitetes Reispapier, das dann zu einem langsamen, gleichmäßigen Abbrennen geflochten wird. Der Duft öffnet sich warm und harzig, mit klaren, holzigen Zedernnoten und einer trockenen, balsamischen Süße. Er beruhigt den Raum mit einer geerdeten Ruhe und einer klaren, respektvollen Präsenz. In der nepalesischen Tradition wird Zeder als ein stabilisierendes, schützendes Holz geschätzt – eine Erinnerung an Klarheit und Gelassenheit im Alltag.

Lege das Seil auf ein Aschebett oder in eine feuerfeste Metall- oder Steinschale. Diese traditionelle Form erzeugt reichlich Rauch – verwende jeweils nur ein Seil und brenne es in einem gut belüfteten Raum ab. Niemals unbeaufsichtigt lassen und von Kindern, Haustieren und Zugluft fernhalten. 🔥
