Hoe ze veilig te branden
Steek het gecoate uiteinde aan, laat het kort vlammen en blaas het dan uit zodat het uiteinde gloeit en rook afgeeft. Plaats het onbedekte uiteinde in een hittebestendige wierookhouder of asopvangbakje, uit de buurt van tocht, stoffen en open ramen.
Brand in een geventileerde ruimte en laat wierook nooit onbeheerd achter. Laat de as natuurlijk vallen en wacht tot alles volledig is afgekoeld voordat je het opruimt.
Patchouli in Indiase wierook
Patchouli wordt al lang gewaardeerd in geuren vanwege zijn donkere, aardse karakter. In wierook geeft het een ruimte een diepe basistoon in plaats van een heldere bloemige lift, daarom komt het vaak voor in avondmengsels, meditatieruimtes en langzame huisrituelen.
