Dit is gedenatureerd rendiermos, gestabiliseerd voor decoratief gebruik binnenshuis. Het is los in plaats van voorgevormd, zodat het kan worden gerangschikt tot kleine accenten of verwerkt in grotere ontwerpideeën, van moskunstwerken tot terrariumachtige scènes.
Hoe te gebruiken en verzorgen
Gebruik het binnenshuis in droge decoratieve omgevingen. Plaats het in een kom, lijst, terrarium of glazen display en pas de stukken met de hand aan totdat de textuur in balans voelt.
Het hoeft niet water te krijgen. Houd het uit de buurt van regen, stilstaand water en vochtige oppervlakken, want geconserveerd mos is bedoeld voor droge binnenruimtes en niet voor buitenbeplanting.
Een rustig materiaal met een noordelijk verhaal
Rendiermos is technisch gezien een korstmos in plaats van een echt mos, bekend om zijn bleke, vertakte vorm in koude noordelijke landschappen. In decoratief werk geeft diezelfde structuur het een zacht, miniatuurbosgevoel. Bloemisten, modelbouwers en interieurstylisten gebruiken geconserveerd mos voor textuur, kleur en schaal, vooral in biophilische interieurs waar natuurlijke vormen een zachtere sfeer brengen in moderne kamers. Hier verplaatst de oranje tint het van bosrealistisch naar iets warmers, gedurfders en speelsers.
