Lapis lazuli en de evil eye traditie
Lapis lazuli wordt al lang geassocieerd met wijsheid, inzicht en waarheid. In de kristalpraktijk wordt het vaak verbonden met bedachtzame communicatie en innerlijk zicht, waardoor het een natuurlijke steen is voor een bureau, leeshoek of plek van bezinning.
Handgemaakt in India
Dit stuk is met de hand gemaakt in India van Acasia hout, messing draad, edelsteenschilfers en glas. De draadtakken houden de steenschilfers in een boomachtige vorm, terwijl de stolp het geheel een afgewerkte, verzamelde uitstraling geeft. Kleine verschillen in takvorm en steenkleur maken deel uit van het handgemaakte karakter.
Plaatsing en verzorging van de stolp
Zet het neer waar het glas natuurlijk licht kan vangen, maar waar het niet gemakkelijk omgestoten kan worden. Een plank, schouw, altaarruimte of rustige werkhoek is hiervoor geschikt.
Stof het glas voorzichtig af met een zachte, droge doek. Vermijd het nat maken van de houten basis of het gebruik van agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen op het metaal, de steen of het glas.
Symbool en setting
Edelsteenbomen worden vaak gebruikt als contemplatieve decoratieve stukken, waarbij de vorm van een boom samenkomt met de kleur en symboliek van steen. De evil eye wordt traditioneel gedragen of getoond als een beschermend embleem, terwijl lapis lazuli geassocieerd wordt met wijsheid en helder zien. Samen maken ze deze stolp minder een gewoon ornament en meer een klein symbolisch object voor in huis, dat een plank of rustige hoek met zorg en aandacht markeert.
