Een wierookstokje is een dun bamboestokje bedekt met een pasta van hout, hars en geur. Steek de punt aan, laat de vlam uitgaan, en het gloeit langzaam een halfuur of langer en geeft de kamer geur.

Zo brand je ze veilig
Plaats één stokje in een hittebestendige wierookhouder of op een asvanger. Steek de punt aan, laat deze kort vlamvatten en blaas de vlam vervolgens uit, zodat het uiteinde blijft gloeien en rook afgeeft.
Brand wierook in een goed geventileerde ruimte, uit de buurt van gordijnen, papier en tocht. Laat brandende wierook nooit onbeheerd achter en laat de as volledig afkoelen voordat je deze opruimt.
