Het blok is met de hand gemaakt volgens de melt and pour-methode, een zeepbereidingswijze waarbij kleur, geur en afwerking in een kant-en-klare zeepbasis worden verwerkt. Het wordt gemaakt in Tsjechië en geleverd als een heel blok, klaar om thuis in porties te snijden.
Hoe te snijden, gebruiken en bewaren
Snijd porties af wanneer je ze nodig hebt, met een schone, droge zeepknijper of een geschikt keukenmes dat je voor dit soort taken bewaart. Voor dagelijks wassen schuim je de zeep op met warm water op handen of lichaam en spoel je het daarna af.
Laat elke zeepreep tussen gebruik goed uitlekken. Een geribbelde of afwaterende zeephouder helpt de zeep stevig te houden en voorkomt dat het oppervlak in water ligt. Alleen voor uitwendig gebruik.

Zeepblokken hebben een gemakkelijke link met markt- en apothekerstradities, waar blokken op gewicht worden gesneden en gekozen op geur, kleur en gevoel.
