- Wierookhars, copal en benzoë worden gecombineerd met amber en mirre, waardoor de collectie zich beweegt van scherp en helder naar diep en balsemachtig.
- Zes verschillende geuren geven je de mogelijkheid om de sfeer van avond tot avond te veranderen, of ze naast elkaar te proberen om je favoriet te vinden.
- De set wordt geleverd met een smalle groene houten wierookhouder met asvanger, zodat je vanaf het eerste stokje een houder hebt.

Geïnspireerd op hars, gemaakt als stokjes
Wierookhars in zijn puurste vorm is rauw boomsap dat op houtskool wordt verbrand. Dat zijn deze niet. Dit zijn wierookstokjes met geuren die doen denken aan klassieke harsaroma's. Daardoor heb je geen houtskooltablet nodig en hoef je niet te wachten tot de kool gloeit. Steek de punt aan, laat de vlam tot rust komen en de rook begint zich te kringelen. Je krijgt de vertrouwde sfeer van hars, met een eenvoudiger ritueel.
Zo brand je de wierook
Plaats één stokje in de asvanger, steek de punt aan en blaas de vlam vervolgens uit, zodat het stokje blijft smeulen. Zet het op een vlakke, hittebestendige ondergrond, uit de buurt van gordijnen, papier en alles wat vlam kan vatten. Brand het in een ruimte waar wat lucht stroomt en laat het nooit zonder toezicht. Laat de ruimte tussen verschillende geuren even luchten, zodat het ene aroma niet vervaagt in het volgende.
De harsen achter de geuren
Wierookhars, mirre, copal en benzoë komen uit het verharde sap van bomen, dat met de hand wordt afgetapt en gedroogd tot amberkleurige druppels. Wierookhars en mirre waren in de oudheid overal ter wereld zeer gewild en werden eeuwenlang in tempels en kerken gebrand. Copal wordt al lange tijd gebruikt tijdens ceremonies in Meso-Amerika, en benzoë heeft een zachte, zoete warmte die aan vanille doet denken. Het branden ervan draaide altijd om sfeer en gelegenheid, en dat is het gevoel dat deze collectie overneemt.
