De geur

Indiase masala-traditie, met natuurlijke harsen en poeders
Deze wierookstokjes worden gemaakt volgens de Indiase masala-methode, waarbij natuurlijke harsen, houtpoeders en etherische oliën een bamboekern omhullen. Dat levert een dichter, langzamer brandend stokje op dan bij de gedipte variant, en een geur die zich ontwikkelt terwijl het gloeiende puntje over de lengte brandt.
Zo brand je de stokjes
Steek het met een laagje bedekte uiteinde aan, laat het een paar seconden vlam vatten en blaas de vlam dan uit, zodat het blijft gloeien. Zet het onbedekte uiteinde rechtop in een houder of leg het schuin in een asvanger, met het gloeiende puntje uit de buurt van brandbare materialen. Brand de stokjes altijd in een geventileerde ruimte en laat een brandend stokje nooit onbeheerd achter.
De Vedic-lijn
De Vedic-serie is geïnspireerd op traditionele Indiase geurcombinaties van citrus, specerijen, hout en bloemen. Elke geur is gebaseerd op natuurlijke materialen in plaats van synthetische basisstoffen. De naam verwijst naar de wierookcultuur die verweven is met Vedische rituelen, waarin geur momenten van gebed, overgang en dagelijkse gebruiken markeerde. Tegenwoordig passen deze geuren echter net zo goed in een seculier als in een heilig thuis.
