Licht glijdt over melkachtig-witte seleniet, vangt fijne verticale strepen terwijl deze gefacetteerde toren kalm en helder staat, zijn potloodpunt scherp en helder. 🌙

Uit Marokko, dit is seleniet (gips) gevormd tot een langwerpige, meerzijdige zuil met rechte zijden, een stabiele platte basis en een scherp gevormde piramidale punt. Het lichaam is doorschijnend tot zacht ondoorzichtig richting de basis, met een satijnen, licht matte glans. Geschatte grootte: H 20 cm × B 4 cm; gewicht ongeveer 700 g. Natuurlijke lineaire nerf loopt van basis tot punt, dus elk stuk is duidelijk uniek.

Vernoemd naar Selene, de Griekse godin van de maan, wordt seleniet in veel kristaltradities genoemd vanwege de verbindingen met de kroon en derde oog chakra's en wordt het vaak geassocieerd met Stier in moderne sterrenbeeldgidsen. Geplaatst op een bureau, plank of meditatiehoek, geeft het een stille, lumineuze focus—vooral bij zacht lamplicht of een kaars. Een doordachte manier om een natuurlijke toets aan een ruimte te geven. 🕯️🧘
