De ontmoeting van koel, flessengroen glas en warm, getextureerd hout voelt kalm en geaard. Gesmolten gerecycled glas nestelt zich in de natuurlijke contouren van het hout, waardoor een lage, brede kom ontstaat die zowel functionele kunst als stille sculptuur is. 🌿

Laat een vingertop langs de gladde, afgeronde rand glijden; het glas is glanzend met zachte golvingen en kleine luchtbellen die het licht vangen. Dikke wanden geven het een geruststellend gewicht. Het open, ondiepe profiel nodigt uit tot water, bloemblaadjes of het eenvoudige genot van een lege oppervlakte die de kamer inademt. Ca. 31 cm breed, 15 cm hoog; inhoud ongeveer 1,3 L. 🌊

De houten basis vertelt zijn eigen verhaal—lichte tot medium bruine nerf met donkerdere, verweerde accenten, knopen en onregelmatige randen. De kom is gevormd om precies in dit stuk hout te nestelen, dus geen twee zijn hetzelfde. Handgemaakt in Indonesië, elk werk eert materiaal eerlijkheid: kleine variaties, luchtbellen of fijne markeringen horen bij het maakproces. 🪵

Plaats het op een console of lage tafel; laat een paar bladeren of bloesems drijven, verzamel gladde stenen, of laat het op zichzelf staan. Een doordacht cadeau voor wie van natuurlijke materialen en bewust leven houdt. ♻️
