De gladde, warme aanraking van mangohout, een stille geurige lint, en de kleine pauze die het aansteken van wierook tot een dagelijks ritueel maakt. Gemaakt in India, waar zowel houtbewerking als wierook al generaties lang deel uitmaken van het huiselijke leven. 🌿

Deze lange, rechthoekige houder heeft een open bovenkant kanaal dat vallende as opvangt en oppervlakken netjes houdt. Een medium-donkerbruine afwerking onthult de natuurlijke nerf met een zacht gepolijste uitstraling; afgeronde randen en verhoogde eindpanelen geven het een rustige, lineaire vorm. Een smalle groef loopt langs de bodem van het kanaal voor een stabiele asopvang, terwijl messing ingelegde olifanten langs de zijkanten een zachte glans toevoegen. In de Indiase kunst is de olifant een symbool van wijsheid en zachte kracht, vaak verwelkomd als een teken van voorspoed. 🐘

Hoe te gebruiken

Plaats op een stabiel, hittebestendig oppervlak uit de buurt van tocht.
Steek je wierookstokje aan; zodra de punt gloeit, plaats het zo dat de as in het centrale kanaal valt.
Laat ongestoord branden; wanneer afgekoeld, leeg de as en veeg af met een zachte doek.
