Koel, helder glas met een zachte blauwgroene tint nestelt zich in verweerd Balinees hout, de twee ontmoeten elkaar in een stille, sculpturale omhelzing. De rand is glad onder de vingertoppen; kleine bubbels en zachte golven vangen het licht terwijl je voorbij beweegt. 🌿🌊

Met de hand gemaakt in Bali, is het gerecyclede glas mondgeblazen en rust het warm op een stuk Gamalwortel zodat het zich aanpast aan de contouren van het hout. Het resultaat is een uniek passend geheel: een asymmetrisch, bolvormig vat gedragen door een witgewassen basis met schorsachtige textuur en bruine tinten die doorschemeren. Het glas zit direct op het hout, de onderkant zacht gevormd, eerbiedigend de natuurlijke silhouet in plaats van het te verbergen.

Kijk goed en je ziet het verhaal van het maken—luchtbellen, lichtgolven en nerf die verschuift van glad naar ruw. Laat het als stille kunst op een plank of console staan, of gebruik het zachtjes: een rustplaats voor sleutels of sieraden, een wieg voor zeestenen, of een klein kommetje om een enkele bloem te laten drijven.
