Rustig gevormd over eeuwen, is deze middelgrote amethistcluster een natuurlijk kunstwerk. Violette kwarts punten rijzen uit een donkergrijze-bruinachtige rotsmatrix, hun glanzende toppen koel aanvoelend en lichtgevend in zacht licht. Een vlak geslepen basis zorgt ervoor dat het gemakkelijk op een plank of bureau staat. ✨

De vorming is een dichte druzy van doorschijnende tot transparante kristallen, elk met een scherpe afwerking. Vanaf het open, schuine vlak zie je een zachte kleurreis: diep paars in het hart, aflopend naar lavendel, dan een fijne witte band voor de ruwe matrix. De silhouet is een onregelmatige wig, eerlijk en onbewerkt, met een aanwezigheid die zowel geaard als verfijnd aanvoelt. Geschatte grootte: 7,5–10 cm; gewicht: 350–450 g. Elk stuk is van nature uniek.

Amethist is de violette variëteit van kwarts, gekleurd door sporenelementen en tijd. De naam komt van het Griekse amethystos, historisch verbonden met helderheid van geest. Gevonden in China, resoneert het met een lange traditie van waardering voor natuurlijke steenvormen voor stille contemplatie.
