Een cirkel van rustige turquoise houdt een delicaat web vast, afgewerkt met zachte veren die bij de geringste bries wiegen. Donkere accenten zorgen voor een stille tegenstelling, en het hele stuk beweegt mee met een zachte, rustgevende ritme — een klein gedicht voor het oog. 🌙

Opgehangen bij een bed, bij een raam of in een rustige hoek, brengt het een kalme aanwezigheid in de kamer. Licht vangt op de draden, schaduwen drijven over de muur, en de zachte texturen nodigen uit tot een langzamere ademhaling. De sfeer is sereen en luchtig, als zee en lucht die elkaar in stilte ontmoeten. 🕊️

Dromenvangers komen oorspronkelijk van het Ojibwe-volk en werden later gedeeld onder Native American en First Nations gemeenschappen. Traditioneel werden ze boven slaapplaatsen gehangen, waarbij het web zou zorgen dat vriendelijke dromen doorgelaten worden en verontrustende dromen worden vastgehouden tot het ochtendlicht. Tegenwoordig maken ambachtslieden op Bali hun eigen interpretaties van deze vorm, waarbij ze het eren als een symbool van zorg, reflectie en bewust leven. ✨
