Koel messing met een diepe, bijna zwarte patina en zachte groenige accenten zet een kalme toon voor je wierookritueel. Gemaakt in India, waar messingbewerking en dagelijkse wierook al lang samen thuis zijn, biedt het een stabiele, hittebestendige rustplaats voor een rustige verbranding. 🌿

Een centrale cilindrische kamer houdt de kegel onder een passend deksel, bekroond door een sculpturaal finiaal van drie bladachtige krommen. Eromheen strekt een bloemachtige opengewerkte plaat zich uit in gebalanceerde lobben; de uitlopende basis is afgezet met een verhoogd meanderpatroon in warm messing. Terwijl de kegel smeult, drijven zachte rookdraadjes door het doorboorde filigraan, en het matte, door de tijd verweerde oppervlak vangt het licht met subtiele groene accenten. De Acht Voorspoedige Symbolen uit de Tibetaanse boeddhistische traditie verschijnen in de decoratie; ze worden veel gebruikt als zegeningen en symboliseren kwaliteiten zoals zuiverheid (lotus), onderlinge verbondenheid (eindeloze knoop) en het pad van beoefening (dharmawiel). 🕯️

Hoe te gebruiken

Plaats de brander op een stabiele, hittebestendige ondergrond. Verwijder het deksel en zet een wierookkegel in de centrale kamer.
Steek de punt van de kegel aan, laat deze gloeien, en waai dan voorzichtig de vlam uit. Plaats het deksel terug en laat de rook door de geperforeerde openingen ademen.
Laat het na gebruik volledig afkoelen. Tik de as eruit en veeg af met een zachte, droge doek om de natuurlijke patina te behouden.
