De gloed verzacht, een krul van geur stijgt op en nestelt zich bij een koel glazen raam in donker, fijnkorrelig hout. In China gaat wierook (xiang) al lang samen met rustig studeren, thee en tempelaanbiedingen—een eenvoudig dagelijks ritueel dat uitnodigt tot aanwezigheid. 🌿

Hier ontmoet een geometrisch houten blok een organische glazen vorm: mat-satijn hout tegen glanzend, lichtgroen glas met subtiele golvingen. Het glas zit iets verzonken, de contour loopt verticaal; een kleine inkeping bovenaan draagt een kegel. Bij backflow kegels daalt de rook zacht langs het glas, verzamelt zich laag voordat het wegdrijft. De basis is vlak en stabiel voor bureaus, planken of vensterbanken, en het compacte profiel (ca. 14,5 × 5 × 23 cm) past netjes weg. Geen hardware, geen vlekken—alleen het spel van nerf, licht en stille lijnen. 🌫️

Hoe te gebruiken

Zet op een vlakke, hittebestendige ondergrond uit de buurt van tocht en delicate stoffen.
Plaats een kegel in de bovenste inkeping (gebruik een backflow kegel voor het cascaderende effect). Steek de punt aan tot deze gloeit, blaas dan voorzichtig de vlam uit.
Laat de geur zich ontvouwen. Laat na gebruik de as afkoelen, leeg dan en veeg het glas en hout schoon met een zachte, droge doek.
