De eerste rookwolk van wierook stijgt op door het messing deksel, een kalme geurdraden vastgehouden door warm metaal. Gepolijst tot een gouden glans, ondersteunt deze brander met handvat dagelijkse rituelen met stille gratie, en weerspiegelt India's lange messingbewerkingsgeschiedenis—vooral in Moradabad, waar dergelijke vormen al generaties lang worden gemaakt en gebruikt. 🌿🕊️

Het verticale, symmetrische profiel draagt een conisch, puntig deksel met gelijkmatig verdeelde perforaties, een afgeronde kom die versmalt tot een slanke steel, en een uitwaaierende voet met discrete ventilatieopeningen voor luchtstroom. Het reflecterende goudkleurige oppervlak vangt licht, terwijl het zijhandvat—een sierlijke metalen beugel met een glad houten handvat—de bewegingen stabiel houdt. Een kleine finial bekroont het deksel; rook komt zachtjes vrij, zelfs wanneer gesloten, geschikt voor kegel-, dhoop- of houtskoolwierook. Ongeveer 12,5 cm hoog. ✨

Hoe te gebruiken

Plaats de brander op een vlak, stabiel, hittebestendig oppervlak; voeg bij gebruik van houtskool een dun laagje as of zand in de kom toe.
Steek je kegel, dhoop of houtskooltablet aan tot het gloeit; plaats het erin en doe het deksel terug zodat de rook door de perforaties kan ademen.
Gebruik het houten handvat om naar behoefte aan te passen. Messing wordt heet—raak het lichaam niet aan, laat brandende wierook nooit onbeheerd achter en houd uit de buurt van kinderen en tocht.
