Koel aanvoelend en zacht lichtgevend, rijst deze met de hand gesneden seleniet op in trapvormige niveaus, waarbij het licht wordt gevangen langs zijn zijdezachte strepen als een stille maanverlichte skyline. 🌙

Vernoemd naar Selene, de Griekse personificatie van de maan, wordt seleniet al lang geassocieerd met helderheid, reflectie en een zacht gevoel van kalmte. Dit stuk is vervaardigd uit Marokkaanse seleniet in natuurlijke melkachtig witte tot doorschijnende tinten, met een satijnachtige glans en vezelige verticale nerf. De cilindrische basis loopt taps toe in terrassen, eindigend in een vlak, gelaagd bovenstuk—een architectonisch profiel dat stevig aanvoelt in de hand. Elke toren is van nature uniek. Geschatte afmeting: H 10 cm, B 3,5 cm; ongeveer 200 g. Plaats het bij zacht licht en de steen gloeit rustig; houd droog, want seleniet is watergevoelig. 🕯️
