Gesneden uit natuurlijke seleniet, toont het stuk een satijnen, halftransparant lichaam met fijne, verticale strepen. De cilindrische basis stijgt op in getrapte niveaus die naar boven toe smaller worden, waardoor de bol wordt verspreid in een warme, serene halo. Genoemd naar Selene, de maan in de Griekse traditie, wordt seleniet algemeen geassocieerd met helderheid, zachte zuivering en een gemakkelijke energiestroom.
