Een driehoek omarmt een gelaceerde cirkel, bleek als ochtendlicht. Met de hand geweven in Indonesië, brengt deze wandhanger twee stille symbolen samen—het zachte web van een dromenvanger en een blauw gecentreerde blik die wijst op een beschermend oog. Het voelt kalm, teder en doordacht gemaakt. 🌙

Het palet is gedempt: natuurlijke houttinten, wit en een vleugje grijsblauw. Opengewerkt kant trekt de blik naar binnen, terwijl vloeiende kwastjes meebewegen met de kleinste bries, waardoor het stuk een levendig ritme krijgt. Hang het boven een bed, naast een raam of in een leeshoek waar licht en lucht de franjes kunnen strelen. Het brengt rust in een kamer, voegt zachte beweging toe en vertelt een verhaal in draden. 🌬️

Dromenvangers komen oorspronkelijk van het Ojibwe (Anishinaabe) volk, waar het geweven web traditioneel wordt gezegd dat het vriendelijke dromen doorlaat terwijl het de rest vasthoudt tot de ochtend. Het blauwe "boze oog" motief, dat voorkomt in Mediterrane en West-Aziatische culturen, wordt algemeen beschouwd als een teken van waakzaamheid en bescherming.
