Handgemaakt in India, is deze ademende katoenen stof ambachtelijk bedrukt op een diep zwarte ondergrond. Een centraal gestileerd olifantenhoofd straalt in een spectrum van levendige tinten, gedefinieerd door ingewikkeld lijnwerk. Concentische, kantachtige banden stralen symmetrisch naar buiten voor een scherp, hoog contrast afwerking. In heel India worden olifanten met respect geëerd in ambacht en ceremonie, vaak geassocieerd met wijsheid en standvastige zorg. 🎨
