Het koele gewicht van gesneden speksteen rust in de palm, gevormd tot een beschermende hand met een kalme, glanzende glans. In Indonesië, waar steenbewerking en dagelijkse wierookoffers diepe wortels hebben, nodigt dit stuk uit tot een onthaast moment van zorg thuis. 🪷

Een vlak, gebeeldhouwd bovenstuk houdt een centrale cirkelvormige mandala van gelaagde bloemblaadjes; een klein gaatje in het midden bevestigt een standaard wierookstokje, en het gladde oppervlak is ook geschikt voor een kleine kegel. Rook stijgt op in zachte draden, die over de bloemblaadjes zweven terwijl de as netjes verzamelt. De handvormige silhouet is afgerond en solide, met een stabiele vlakke basis. Kleur beweegt in een natuurlijke gradient—diep groen nabij de bovenrand vermengd met paars en magenta naar het midden en de voorkant, met zachte bruine vlekken langs de zijkanten. Subtiele gebogen lijnaccenten nabij de top echoën bladeren of vlammen.
