About this product

What the pyrite and beadwork bring to a room
  • The pyrite has a naturally bright, mineral sparkle, giving the piece a warm flash when the light catches it.
  • The beaded form adds texture and rhythm, softer than a framed print and more tactile than a flat decoration.
  • Hung where it has a little space around it, it becomes a small visual pause in the room.
  • The Evil Eye motif gives the piece a recognisable symbolic centre, often chosen for thresholds and personal spaces.
  • It works well where you want detail up close rather than a large wall statement.
Pyrite stones, beads and handcrafted detail

This hanging pendant is handcrafted from gemstone material, with pyrite stones set among beads around an Evil Eye design. Pyrite is known for its brassy, reflective surface, so each stone brings its own small shifts of shine and texture.

Where to hang it and how to care for it

Place it indoors on a wall hook, cupboard handle, shelf bracket or other secure point where it can hang freely. Keep it away from damp rooms, rain and splashes. Pyrite is not water-safe and can be damaged by water, so clean around it with a dry, soft cloth rather than washing or soaking it.

The meaning behind the motif

The Evil Eye is an apotropaic symbol, a protective motif found in many Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and North African traditions. It is often worn or hung near entrances as a sign of watchfulness and care. In modern crystal practice, pyrite is traditionally associated with abundance, confidence and purposeful action. Here, the two ideas meet in a decorative wall hanging that feels symbolic without needing to be elaborate, a small ritual object for the home as much as an ornament.
