About this product

Rose skull design in monochrome
  • The black and white palette keeps the look dramatic without adding extra colour to the room.
  • The skull motif gives the piece a gothic, contemplative edge, while the roses soften the design.
  • Used on a bed, it creates a strong centrepiece over plain bedding and natural textures.
  • Hung on a wall, it reads more like textile art than a simple covering.
  • The hand-printed finish means small variations may appear, giving each piece its own character.
Cotton with a hand-printed finish

Made from cotton, this is a substantial textile with enough presence for a wall display and enough softness for everyday styling on a bed. The design is printed by hand, so tiny irregularities are part of the piece rather than faults.

Ways to style it at home

Drape it across a double bed for a bold, layered look, or hang it behind a sofa, desk or low bed as a large textile backdrop. For wall use, choose gentle fixings such as textile clips, a poster hanger or a rod with clips, rather than piercing the fabric unnecessarily.

Care for printed cotton

Wash gently in cool water with mild detergent and avoid wringing the fabric. Dry flat or in shade, and iron on the reverse with a moderate setting if needed. Deep printed textiles are best washed separately the first time.

Made in India

India has a long history of printed cotton textiles, from everyday home cloths to decorative hangings used for colour, pattern and atmosphere. This piece sits in that tradition as a practical object with visual storytelling at its centre. The rose and skull pairing is often read as a reminder of beauty, change and the passing nature of life, expressed here through a clear monochrome design.
