About this product

What the eye catches first
  • The heart outline is open and airy, so the wall behind remains part of the design.
  • Black beads give the piece a clean silhouette, with a softly matte look in the photograph.
  • Natural raffia tassels hang at different points, adding loose movement and a more relaxed edge.
  • The visible cord at the top keeps the hanging point simple and in keeping with the natural materials.
  • The form is decorative without feeling overly polished, with small variations in the bead surface visible in the image.
Pinewood beads and raffia texture

The design is made from pinewood beads and raffia, with the beads arranged into a heart-shaped mobile and the fibre tassels left loose and natural. The contrast is the main pleasure here: smooth dark beadwork beside dry, straw-toned fringe.

Placing and caring for it

Choose a dry indoor spot where the tassels have space to hang freely. Dust lightly with a soft cloth or feather duster, and keep the raffia away from damp conditions so the fibres stay neat.

Natural wall art from Indonesia

This piece comes from Indonesia and belongs to SHAMTAM’s Natural Wall Art range. Its appeal is simple and material-led: plant fibre, wooden beads, visible stringing and an easy heart form. Rather than a polished framed object, it reads more like a soft hanging detail, bringing texture to a plain wall, alcove or calm corner.

Common questions

Is this a flat wall piece?
It is a hanging bead mobile rather than a framed print. The beads and tassels give it a lightly three-dimensional shape.
Can it be used outdoors?
The listed materials are pinewood beads and raffia, so it is best treated as an indoor decorative piece and kept away from damp weather.
