Titanium Crystal Chakra Stone 7-10cm Man Made
A laboratory-grown crystal cluster with a metallic surface that throws back streaks of blue, green and violet as the light shifts across it. The finish is created by bonding titanium to the surface of quartz through a high-temperature vapour process, giving each piece a dark, iridescent skin over a pale crystal base. It sits well on a shelf or desk as a small sculptural object, catching the eye without needing much space.

What it is
These are stones close to how they come out of the ground: rough pieces, clusters of points growing together, geodes split open to show the crystals inside, and specimens of a single mineral. Some are coated, dyed or man made, and we say so on each page.
Why people choose it
- The shape it grew No cutting or polishing, so every piece is different.
- A piece for the room A geode or a cluster holds a corner of a shelf on its own.
- Several pieces in one Rough bags and specimen sets give you many stones to arrange.
- Told as it is Natural, dyed, coated or man made is stated on every page.
How to use it
- 1
Place a cluster or a geode where daylight reaches it
- 2
Keep rough pieces in a bowl, or lay them around a candle or a plant
- 3
Turn a specimen now and then to see a new face
Care: Dust with a soft dry brush. Points and edges break easily, so lift the piece by its base. Keep coated and dyed pieces out of water and strong sun to protect the finish.

What can I say about these Amethyst Points that I have not said before. They are great for the use I have them for. If only a few other Companies trained their Staff so well life would be so much simpler.

As rough points go these are the best I have ever come across in over 60 years ( Yes I mean 60 years). I use a lot of them. Once again 100 / 100 as 5* are just not enough.

About this product
What you'll notice
- The colour moves as you turn it: what looks gunmetal grey straight-on flares into peacock blues and purples when the angle changes.
- The surface has a fine, almost sandpaper texture where the titanium coating meets the natural crystal faces.
- Beneath the metallic layer, you can often see the pale quartz structure, particularly where the coating is thinner or along broken edges.
- Each piece is a unique shape, since it follows the growth pattern of the original crystal cluster before coating.
How it's made
This is quartz that has been synthetically grown in a laboratory, then treated with titanium through a process called vapour deposition. The crystal is heated in a vacuum chamber while titanium vapour bonds to its surface, creating the iridescent metallic finish. The colour play comes from light interference within the thin titanium layer, similar to the effect that creates rainbow patterns on oil or soap bubbles.
Display and handling
It needs no special care beyond dusting with a soft, dry cloth. The titanium coating is stable and won't rub off with normal handling, though sharp impacts can chip the underlying quartz. It sits flat on most surfaces without a stand, and the metallic sheen shows best in natural daylight or under a warm desk lamp placed to one side.
A note on what this is
This is an openly man-made object: laboratory-grown quartz that has been surface-treated for visual effect. It belongs to a category of decorative mineral specimens valued for their colour and form rather than their geological rarity. Some collectors appreciate the controlled iridescence and sculptural quality; others prefer untreated natural crystals. Both approaches are valid, and the appeal here is purely aesthetic.
What you receive
A single titanium-coated quartz cluster. Each piece is photographed individually, so what you see in the image is what arrives. The shape, colour intensity and size vary naturally between specimens.
A considered gift
It suits someone who likes small sculptural objects with a bit of visual drama, or a collector who appreciates the craft of surface treatments alongside natural specimens. The metallic finish and compact form make it easy to place in a small flat or on a crowded bookshelf.
