★★★★★ O.U.The quality of the item is excellent - it looks like the real thing
Got this as a birthday gift for a friend with a thing for pigs and wine. She absolutely loves it! The quality of the item is excellent - it looks like the real thing. When last I saw it it was holding a bottle appropriately called 'Shy Pig'...an empty bottle I hasten to add!

About this product
Twelve small glasses with a story underneath
- Each glass holds a neat 25 ml measure, suited to spirits, liqueurs or a small celebratory pour.
- The clear upper glass keeps the drink visible, while the brass base gives the table a richer, more collected look.
- The animal motifs turn serving into a social moment, especially when guests search for their own zodiac sign.
- The set follows the full Chinese zodiac cycle, with Rat, Ox, Tiger, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig represented.
- The antique-style metal finish brings a sense of age and ceremony without feeling too polished or formal.
Clear glass with ornate brass bases
The design is built around contrast: transparent glass above, detailed brass below. The bases carry the animal decoration, giving each piece a sculptural presence even before anything is poured.
Brass naturally has warmth and depth, and its surface can mellow with handling over time. That gentle change suits the antique-style look and adds to the feeling of a set meant to be brought out, shared and noticed.
Bringing them to the table
Use them for a round of after-dinner spirits, a tasting tray, or a small toast at a birthday gathering. They work especially well when the zodiac theme has meaning for the group, from a birth-year gift to a shared New Year table.
After use, wash gently by hand and dry the brass bases with a soft cloth. Avoid leaving them sitting wet, as moisture can dull metal finishes.
The zodiac at the heart of the set
In the Chinese zodiac, twelve animals mark a repeating cycle of years, each carrying its own traditional associations and character. Here, that symbolism is used as decorative barware rather than as a ceremonial object: a way to bring myth, conversation and recognition into a simple shared drink. The pleasure is partly in the choosing, with one person drawn to the Dragon, another to the Horse, another to the animal of their birth year.
