The light button moves through four settings: warm white light, all lights on, running lamp mode, then light off. The spray is controlled separately by pressing and holding the spray button to turn the mist on, then pressing and holding again to turn it off.

To add water, open the water tank from the base, fill it, then lock the tank back into place by aligning it with the main body and rotating it clockwise.

This model uses a cotton swab inside the water tank. Before using it for the first time, fully soak the cotton swab in water, place it into the sleeve, and fix the sleeve onto the inner bracket above the maximum water level.

It comes with two cotton swabs, one for use and one spare.
