How to burn it safely and slowly
Place a charcoal disc in a heat-proof incense holder, ideally over a layer of sand or ash to help absorb heat. Hold the charcoal with tongs while lighting it, then wait until the edges begin to grey and ash over.
Add a small pinch of resin on top. The resin will warm, melt and release fragrant smoke. Use in a well-ventilated room, keep the holder away from flammable surfaces, and allow everything to cool fully before clearing away.
