About this product
Cedar, citrus and woodland air
- The citrus opens cleanly, like peel released between your fingers.
- Cedar gives the scent a drier, woody warmth, keeping it steady and understated.
- Green, forest-floor notes add an earthy feel without turning heavy.
- The wooden wick brings a soft crackle, adding a fireside quality to the flame.
- The dark green glass looks calm and natural, especially beside plants, books or warm evening light.
Soy wax with a wooden wick
The candle is made with soy wax and a wooden wick. The wax holds the cedar citrus fragrance, while the woodwick gives the small sound and flicker that make lighting it feel like a ritual.
Green glass and cork
The candle sits in a dark green glass jar with a cork lid.
How to burn it well
Place the candle on a heat-proof holder or plate before lighting.
Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from curtains, papers, shelves and anything flammable. Let the wax cool fully before replacing the cork lid.
The Greenman thread
The Green Man appears in European folklore and church carving as a face formed from leaves, often read as a symbol of wild growth, seasonal return and the living woodland. This candle takes that idea in a quiet, domestic direction: green glass, wood, cork and a cedar citrus scent that feels connected to trees, peel and damp earth. It is not ceremonial or grand. It is a small way to mark the shift from a busy room to a softer evening.

★★★★★ SHAMTAM customerBeautiful to look at and smell
This is a gorgeous freshly scented candle in a somewhat simple white ceramic pot. The whole thing is well made, the scents are seemingly expertly blended as I can smell all the listed fragrances as well as enjoying the harmonious scent they all create together. The wax seems to burn cleanly, I've burned this a few time
