About this product
A small ritual
- Put a heaped teaspoon of tea in the strainer, hang the quartz over the rim of the mug, and pour water that has rested off the boil for a few minutes.
- While it steeps, write three lines by hand: whatever is at the top of your mind, not a to-do list.
- Lift out the strainer, open the window, give the room one spray of citrus, and start the day only then.
What's inside
- One lokta notebook, 15 x 12 cm, 45 unlined leaves, the cover pressed with real petals and closed with a bamboo toggle and button; each cover differs.
- 50 g of loose Sencha green and Pai Mu Tan white tea with apple and cinnamon, in a kraft pouch. Contains almond.
- One stainless steel mesh tea strainer on a short chain, with a raw clear quartz point that rests outside the cup.
- One 100 ml room spray, Citrus Fresh: lemon, orange and lemongrass over a soft woody base, in amber glass.
The pieces arrive together in one parcel. They are not gift-wrapped. The spray bottle is glass and is packed with care.
Morning pages come from Julia Cameron's book The Artist's Way, published in 1992: three pages written longhand, first thing, before the day starts asking for anything. Three lines is a gentler way in.
