★★★★★ R.Excellent quality
A very much appreciated birthday present. Easy to set up - also bought the terrarium soil kit. The terrarium is solidly made with strong joints between 'frames', one of them being the access door which is hinged and has a closing fastener. Love it enough to consider buying more in the future. Thank…

★★★★★ T.A.Good design, recommend protective lining
Update: started leaking. Do line it with something impermeable before you fill it up, or put something underneath to protect your surfaces.Had the windowless version, and liked it so much I ended up buying this for the sake of symmetry. It doesn't leak, but since the one before eventually started…

Amazing product. The packaging was awful shouldn’t be a loud to be packed in this. I opened at the market on Saturday and it was really embarrassing having so much shredded paper flying everywhere. Unlikely to purchase again due to the packaging.

★★★★★ C.Plant hangings
Really happy with these items, they go with my lampshades perfectly. Easy to hang and they take a lot of weight as I have a heavy pot plant in one and its fine. Can highly recommend as prices is very reasonable and delivery prompt.

★★★★★ M.Well made.
Very cute little terrarium. Due to these not being waterproof, they make quite good homes for succulents that require very dry soil most of the time, where misting to water is perfectly fine. Happy with this item.

★★★★★ V.B.Nice!
Perfect little size for a couple of little plants or cuttings to sit under a led lamp. Build quality is nice, but the wire to hold it open flops about inside hitting plants, so I just removed it.

Large enough for a 10 inch pot and sturdy enough for the weight of the filled pot. Looks really lovely.

About this product
Four woven pieces for calmer corners
- Two tall vases add height and texture to a shelf, hallway, bedroom corner or living-room display.
- Two smaller bins keep everyday pieces together, from toys and scarves to pantry items or bathroom cloths.
- The natural brown banana leaf is broken with dark charcoal bands, giving the set a grounded, graphic rhythm.
- The woven surface has gentle variation, with raised fibres and uneven tones that feel relaxed rather than polished.
- Used together, the pieces create a layered natural display. Split across rooms, they quietly tie a home together.
Banana leaf, handwoven in Java
Each piece is made from banana leaf, handwoven and dyed in Java, Indonesia. The weave has a coiled, wrapped look, with darker edging around the rims and irregular bands through the body. Small differences in tone and texture are part of the material’s character, especially with natural plant fibres.
Ways to use the set
Use the vases for dried grasses, bare branches or as sculptural floor pieces. The bins suit dry storage around the home: blankets, craft supplies, pantry packets, toys, spare cloths or anything you want close to hand but out of sight.
If using one as a plant pot cover, keep the plant in its nursery pot and add a saucer or liner inside. Banana leaf is a natural fibre, so it should be protected from standing water and damp soil.
Where they feel at home
The warm woven texture works especially well against wood, linen, stone, rattan and softly painted walls. Place one tall vase beside a console or reading chair, then use the bins nearby for practical storage that still feels considered.
Care for the woven fibre
Keep the set indoors and away from prolonged damp. Dust with a dry cloth or soft brush, and avoid soaking or scrubbing the weave. If a spill happens, blot gently and let the piece dry fully in open air.
Java craft and natural texture
Banana leaf weaving sits within a long craft culture in Java, where plant fibres are shaped into practical household objects as well as decorative pieces. This set carries that balance well: useful enough for daily organisation, but textural enough to change the feeling of a room. The dyed bands give the pieces a more contemporary edge while keeping the material honest, with the leaf’s natural creases, colour shifts and woven joins still visible.
Sizes and set details
The set includes four pieces: two small bins measuring 24.5 × 20 cm, one larger vase measuring 50 × 18 cm, and one smaller vase measuring 44 × 16 cm. The material is banana leaf, handwoven and dyed in Java, Indonesia.
A thoughtful home gift
A generous gift for someone settling into a new home, refreshing a living room, or trying to bring more natural texture into their space. It suits people who like practical storage, but do not want it to look purely functional.
